Inner Dialog, Outer Experience
This is a talk about the Personal Points as used in Symmetrical Astrology. We derive these points from planets and Great Circles and how they all interact. By seeing how they are constructed in the celestial sphere we all will gain a greater understanding of any form of astrology. This approach will unlock a deeper meaning of how character and destiny unfold in a life and connect your astrology directly to the heavens by understanding the celestial planes that it is all built on.
The talk will also focus on use of the Personal Points to provide a framework to interpret any kind of horoscope from deep natal work to electionals and mundane work. You will learn where to look where we see the deeper sides of the native's inner life and outlook. How we all fit into this world is revealed through various levels of connection and the principles that underlie these ideas.
Designed for all levels of astrologers (beginner to professional), Gary will add to your toolbox of astrological abilities methods for organizing your work and creating a hierarchy of concepts and symbols making you a better astrologer.
Astrologer and Founder of Astrolabe
GARY CHRISTEN is a well-known practitioner of Uranian Astrology, which he has evolved into modern Symmetrical Astrology. An astrologer since his teens, he is the first person in modern times awarded an accredited B.A. degree in astrology (Livingston College, Rutgers University, 1974). An international lecturer, Gary has been teaching since the early seventies. A professional astrologer since 1969, Gary co-founded Astrolabe, Inc., assisting the development of many Astrolabe products. He is currently perfecting Nova ChartWheels, which he considers representative of the future of astrology.
“Basically, I specialize in the Symmetrical Astrology, which is composed of various schools of thought comprising the Uranian System, Cosmobiology, Cosmobiosophical and others based on the ideas compiled by Alfred Witte and incorporates many of the mundane ideas introduced by A. H. Blackwell. This modern approach also utilizes other new-wave forms of astrology as I long ago passed through the more orthodox and traditional forms. I try to teach people new ways of looking and thinking about astrology without limiting myself to the confines of any specific school of thought.”
